We supported the team of the 3rd Major Meeting of Francophone Entrepreneurs (GREF) in creating an engaging event for 200 young entrepreneurs (under 35 years old) from 21 French-speaking countries. The goal was to stimulate exchanges, inspire entrepreneurial practices, and foster the emergence of projects between entrepreneurs to address common challenges across different regions.

KEY CHALLENGES

  • Encourage the emergence of innovative entrepreneurial projects addressing four key themes: social entrepreneurship, women’s entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurship, and digital entrepreneurship.
  • Address four levels of challenges: accelerate international business opportunities, enable professional network development across four continents, provide training in intercultural aspects of commerce, and involve participants in a strong economic and technological dynamic.

OBJECTIVES

  • Create connections, both personal and professional, between young Francophone entrepreneurs.

  • Showcase the local innovation ecosystem and build bridges with its key players.

  • Foster mutual support and the sharing of entrepreneurial practices.

  • Identify common challenges across various territories and form “challenge” teams.

  • Generate concrete solutions in the form of projects to be implemented and institutional action recommendations.

  • Celebrate the proposed solutions and the collective success of the initiative.

OUR APPROACH

Fairywell provided structured support through five key stages, ensuring smooth progression towards collective performance:

  1. Design of a 4-day meeting and working program for 200 participants.
  2. Creation and facilitation of a kickoff event to introduce the local innovation ecosystem, French entrepreneurial culture, and to foster immediate connections between entrepreneurs upon arrival in Strasbourg.
  3. Creation and facilitation of a session focused on sharing concrete and inspiring entrepreneurial practices.
  4. Design and facilitation of a co-creation project pathway based on the four selected themes for this 3rd GREF.
  5. Creation and facilitation of a final pitching and celebration event for the projects that emerged.

RESULTS :

  • New contacts, new connections, and concrete business opportunities
  • New ideas, inspiration, and motivation to undertake projects
  • Emerging projects as solutions to economic, social, energy, and environmental challenges within the French-speaking world
  • An official report and recommendations for entrepreneurship within the Francophone sphere
